Our mission
We're on a mission to help preachers develop inspirational sermons that explain the Word of God in its historical, theological and cultural context. Additionally, our mission is to connect the Word of God with people's everyday lives and struggles. Our mission is to inspire preachers to focus their attention on various issues which influence our highly diverse and pluralistic society. Preachers cannot remain silent in face of social, racial, economic, and financial injustice. We believe in the Gospel of Love and Compassion where all are welcome to sit at the table of plenty and to hear that God loves them and is always at their side.
Our vision
Through our sermons we wish to inspire and educate God's people to become intentional disciples of Jesus Christ and to embrace their call to holiness and promotion of a just society. We wish to create a world where people coming from diverse background will be loved and accepted for the reflection of Christ that they are. We long for a world freed from racism, bigotry, discrimination, poverty, hunger, and senseless wars. We believe that the Word of God has the power to change people's minds and hearts in order to create a better world and bring people closer to God.
Get to know us
We started this website out of love for preaching and as a way to help busy and sometimes overworked pastors and preachers in their preparation to preach the Word of God. Today's ministry of service to God's people demands multitasking from pastors and church leaders. This reality quite often leaves them with a limited time to prepare a quality sermon. Preaching is an integral part of worship experience, and many recent studies show that church members expect excellent sermons that relate to their lives. Strong Biblical foundation and explanation of the Word of God in its historical and theological context are an essential part of high-quality preaching. When we combine these elements with heartwarming stories illustrating the essence of the Scripture readings we preach about, we connect with our listeners and deepen not only their knowledge but more importantly their faith.
